The Memory Project

The Memory Project was a past body of commissioned work exploring how memory changes over time. Rather than attempting to depict events literally, the paintings approached memory as an abstract composition shaped by sensation, color, rhythm, and emotional residue.

Each piece was developed through conversation and reflection, with the goal of translating lived moments into physical form without narrative illustration. Over time, the project became an inquiry into how memories soften, distort, and reorganize themselves and how they live in the body rather than as fixed images.

This project is no longer active. The works remain as part of my broader practice, marking an earlier period of relational exploration that continues to inform my current, non-directive approach to abstraction.
